About

IRC-NeonNet

Our FTN network IRC channel is #neonnet in RusNet IRC network. It is supposed for quick online chat between NeonNet members and all other persons interested in FTN networking.

To join our chat you should connect to irc.lucky.net port 7777(UTF-8), 6669 (CP1251) or 6667 (KOI8-U) Then, if it is your first time in RusNet, you must register your nickname with NickServ - type

/msg NickServ@*.RusNet help register

for additional information. Then register and add in your client's Perform at connect settings:

/msg NickServ@*.RusNet identify [your_password]

(for mIRC it is in Options=>Connect=>Perform menu). Then (after you were successfully registered) type /join #neonnet, and you will join our channel.

You can get full current server list by using /links command while in IRC.

All available charsets and instructions how to use them are shown in server's MOTD while connecting.

If you don't have an IRC client, you can download mIRC (win32) or xchat (UNIX).
