Here are NEON2 NCC IP-nodes technical characteristics
and rules for connecting them. It's strongly recommended to read
our FAQ first, and download
point software if you don't have one. Also it is meant that you
are familiar with FTN-technology basics and can setup your point
software yourself.
Neon_#2-NeonNet node.
IP-address (DNS): bbs.neon.ne.jp or neon2.nline.net.ua
IP bandwidth: 100M (UA-IX) / 10M
(world) (N-Line ISP).
Dialup: Yes (+380-44-5705780).
Work time: 20:30-06:30 (dialup), CM
(IP).
Protocols supported: IBN (binkp), IFC
(raw tcp/ip), ITN (telnet).
FTN-addresses, supported networks: 11:463/177 (NeonNet),
2:463/877 (FidoNet).
BBS: Yes (dialup, telnet - neon2.mine.nu port 177,
telnet service currently is not avaliable).
Connecting regulation. Neon_#2-NeonNet node connects
all users to the FTN-networks specified. For dialup access, you are required to
register an account on BBS, and use there real names and real data
only. You may page system operator for chat, or leave a message
for him, specifying required FTN-address and session password. To
